Στα στενά της σοκάκια σάρκες πόσες πλεχτήκαν
και στο λάγνο του αγνώστου χάδι εξαγνιστήκαν..
Το σκοτάδι της δαγκώνει και μολύνει τις ψυχές
μα τη μέρα ο ήλιος καίει κι επουλώνει τις πληγές.

Στα χιλιάδες της ξωκλήσσια οι εικόνες ραγίζουν
οι άγιοι τα βράδια το σκάνε και πίνουν
Ο Απόλλωνας στη Δήλο οίνο άφεσης κερνά

Στη μικρή Βενετία βάλτωσαν οι θεοί

Την καταδικάζουν στην πυρά οι ιδεολόγοι
των αστών οι διώκτες και οι ηθικολόγοι μα,
το δικό της μυστήριο το γνωρίζουν μόνο αυτοί
